The discipline of Marxist Theory aims to research the practice and rules of Marxist Theory and its education and teaching, and adhere to the dialectical unity of theory and practice, logic and history, inheritance and innovation, science and ideology. The construction of Marxist theoretical disciplines is responsible for the training of Marxist theoretical talents, scientific research, social services, and cultural heritage and innovation, while providing academic support for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in universities.
The First-level Discipline of Marxist Theory contains six Second-level Discipline, including the Basic Principles of Marxism, Ideological and Political Education, the Study of Sinicization of Marxism, the Study of Foreign Marxism, the History of Marxist Development, and the Study of Fundamental Problems of Modern China, which contains five studies including Marxist Theory and its contemporary development, Marxism Sinicization and its practical innovation, theory and practice of Ideological and Political Education, Foreign Marxism and social trend of thought, and Marxist Legal Theory and its application.
