The School of Marxism offers two bachelor's degree programs and three master's degree programs. The bachelor's degree programs include Ideological and Political Education, History Education. The master's degree programs include Principles of Marxism，Ideological and Political Education，Marxist Philosophy. The first-level disciplines master degree points of Theory of Marxism was examined and verified by Academy Degree Office of Jiangsu Province in 2010. The school is responsible for teaching all undergraduates and post graduates political and theoretical subject and constructive tasks of corresponding courses in the university. It has four teaching and research departments，including Basic Principles of Marxism，Mao Zedong Thought，Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics，Outline of Modern Chinese History，Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis.

The school employs 54 staff members，including 15 full professors and 23 associate professors，26 PhDs and PhD candidates.The school has an enrollment of 265 students（111 postgraduate students included）.
