Master’s Program of Philosophy of Marxism
Authorized in 2003, the Program of Philosophy of Marxism began its enrollment in 2004. Till 2009, there have been four sessions of graduates. Some of the graduates from this program are now working in colleges, universities, managerial departments, administrative departments and public institutions. Others are pursuing their doctoral degrees. This program, with Lv Guochen as its disciplinary leader, has three research fields, namely Philosophy of Marxism and Modernization, Marxist Outlook on Science and Technology, Marxism and Modern and Contemporary Western Philosophy. In recent years, the professors have undertaken and conducted academic researches on provincial and departmental levels or above in the way of combining philosophy and other disciplines and social practices, with monographs and papers published by authoritative presses or in influential journals, producing satisfactory social repercussions. Master’s Program of Fundamental Principles of Marxism
Authorized in 2003, the Master Program of Fundamental Principles of Marxism, with professor Dong Defu as the disciplinary leader, began its enrollment in 2004 in three research fields, namely, Marxism and Contemporary Social Thoughts, Basic Theory of Marxism and Its Contemporary Development, and Marxist Jurisprudence. Since then, the professors have undertaken a group of national, provincial and departmental research projects in the field of Principles of Marxism and Contemporary China, Marxism and Modern and Contemporary Cultural Thoughts in China, with many academic publications and considerable impact in academia. Master’s Program of Ideological and Political Education
Authorized in 2003, the Program of Ideological and Political Education began its enrollment in 2004. Some of the graduates from this program are now working with colleges, universities, managerial departments, administrative departments and public institutions. Others are pursuing their doctoral degrees. This program, with Professor Zhang Bingsheng as its disciplinary leader, has three research fields, namely Marxist Ethics, Innovation and Development of Ideological and Political Education, Ideological and Political Education and Management of University Students. In recent years, the professors have undertaken a group of research projects on provincial levels or above in the field of Practice and Theory of Ideological and Political Education, the Internet Culture and Ideological and Political Education, Theory and Practice of University Students Mental Health Education. They have published academic monographs and many high-quality papers in CSSCI source journals and other core Chinese journals.
