In order to actively guide the postgraduate students' academic attitude and improve academic ethics, on June 14th morning, the Marxism School held a Lecture on “Scientific Morality and Academic Atmosphere Construction for Postgraduate Students” in the 1701 Hall of Marxism School. Professor Jiang Junming, a member of the Party Committee of the Marxism School and Secretary of the Party Branch of Ma Yuan Teaching and Research Office, were invited as guest speakers. Mrs. Zhong Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the party committee and Vice President of the Institute, and the 2017 and the 2018 postgraduate students participated in the lecture.
During the lecture, Professor Jiang Junming explained the matters that needed attention when it comes to the process of topic selection, data search, thinking and writing, format specification, references, recording work and so forth, in detail.
Lastly, the Deputy Secretary Mrs Zhong made a concluding statement. In the course of scientific research, she hopes that all students will be able to study, to seek knowledge, to have self-respect for the academic moral standard, to maintain the dignity of the academic field, to observe the morality of the whole process of study, life and research, and to be mature.
