To further strengthen the construction of graduate supervisor teams, on December 7th, the 2024 annual in-service training work conference for graduate supervisors of the School of Marxism was held in Room 1706, Sanjiang Building.Professor Guo Jiezhong, former director of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education, and his delegation were invited to give a special report.Some members of the academy leadership, all graduate supervisors, and graduate teaching secretaries attended the meeting.The meeting was divided into two stages, chaired by Vice President Xiao Jianguo.

The first phase of the meeting is for specialized coaching.Professor Guo Jiezhong gave a training report titled "The Responsibility and Pursuit of Ideological and Political Course Instructors."He provided an in-depth interpretation of the sacred responsibilities shouldered by ideological and political course instructors, from guiding students to establish correct values to innovating the diverse forms of ideological and political education, progressing step by step and analyzing with meticulous detail.He made the complex concepts of ideological and political education easy to understand, with vivid examples and detailed data complementing each other.This report has provided ideological and political course instructors with a fresh and comprehensive understanding of their important mission, laying a solid foundation for enhancing the quality and impact of ideological and political education.Associate Professor Wang Leifeng, Vice Dean of the School of Marxism at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, shared his thoughts and insights from actual work in terms of "addition," "subtraction," "multiplication," and "division."

The second phase of the meeting is for work deployment.Mr. Xiao Jianguo, vice dean of the university, systematically explained the system documents and key matters of the national, Jiangsu Province and the university about the work of graduate student supervisors.And he made work deployment for important time nodes and key links for different grades of graduate students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dean Li Li expressed, on behalf of the college, her heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the mentors.Dean Li emphasized various aspects, including graduate recruitment, curriculum instruction, thesis guidance, career guidance, and daily educational management.She pointed out that the responsibility of mentors lies in guidance, and they are important leaders in shaping the academic path and values of graduate students.And we must effectively enhance the guidance capabilities and sense of responsibility of graduate student mentors.
