The opening meetings of the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) and the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) were respectively held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, on the afternoon of March 4 and the forenoon of March 5. Representatives of teachers and students in the School of Marxism watched the live broadcast of the opening meetings in the conference room 1706, Sanjiang Building, and the rest watched it in their offices or dormitories.

After watching the live broadcast, the teachers and students had a heated discussions on the two sessions.
