Dong Defu, a professor at the School of Marxism, was invited to deliver keynote speech entitled “Theoretical Thinking on Chinese Modernization——Personal Views on Studying the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China”. Dong said that the Report to the 20th CPC National Congress systematically presented the goals, basic features, essential requirements and practical principles of Chinese modernization, constructed the theoretical system and discourse system of Chinese modernization, and expounded the scientific connotation of Chinese modernization from historical logic, theoretical logic and practical logic. At the same time, he believed that it was necessary to coordinate the relationships between top-level design and practical exploration, strategy and tactic, and keeping the righteousness and making innovation in the process of promoting Chinese modernization.
