On October 24th, Gong Donghong, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Ideological and Political Department of Lvliang University, and Gao Jingjing, Secretary of the Sub-committee of the Communist Youth League, came to our School for investigation. The two groups held discussions and exchanges on student work. Zhong Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Marxism School, Li Mingyu, head of the Ideological and Political education major and all full-time and part-time counselors participated in the exchange.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Zhong Xiaohui extended a warm welcome to the delegations as well as introducing the general situation of our school. The basic situation of teachers conducting student work, the highlights of the work characteristics and the cultivation concept for students. Mr. Wei Zhixiang gave a detailed introduction to the entrance education and academic tutorial system for freshmen in our school. Mr. Li Mingyu gave a thorough discussion with everybody on professional construction and skills training for normal students, Mr. Jiang Junming focused on the improvement of student’s comprehensive quality and Mr. Fan Hongmin gave a detailed exchange on working in group studies. Teacher Wei Zhixiang during the free communication session together with the others conducted an in-depth discussion on funding management, study style construction, employment guidance, postgraduate entrance examination guidance, student party building, league construction, the cultivation and evaluation of student’s comprehensive quality.
The research-oriented symposium is conducive to opening up ideas, inspiring thinking, learning from one another which can improve the level of serving students and performance a good job in the cultivation of talents in the new era.
