On June 1st, Professor Fu Qingsong of Marxism School was invited to attend the 70th Anniversary of the founding of New China and Academic Symposium on Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the New era, which is the second Contemporary China Marxism Summit Forum, which was jointly organized by the Contemporary Chinese Marxism Research Institute of colleges and universities in Shandong province, the School of Marxism in Shandong Normal University and the Social Science Department of Shandong Normal University.
Nearly 70 experts and scholars from more than 40 scientific research institutes and periodical editorial departments attended the meeting, including China Academy of Social Sciences, Central University of Finance and Economics, China Petroleum University, Northeast Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Xihua Normal University, People's Daily Theory Department, Guangming Daily Theory Department, amongst many others. The meeting focused on the historical achievements and basic experience of the development of the party and the state since the founding of the People ’s Republic of China. The theoretical innovation and spiritual essence of Xi Jinping’s thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, the persistence and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the promotion of Marxism in the 21st century.
Dr. Fu Qingsong submitted the conference paper, New Era Implications of the Comprehensive Reform of the Methodology by Xi Jinping, which attracted the attention of the participants.
